MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — One thousand and five days is quite a long time. That's 143 weeks, 33 months or two college basketball seasons. It's also the number of days separating when Middle Tennessee forward DeAndre Dishman last took the floor in a regular-season game and when the Blue Raiders will tip it off to begin the 2020-21 season on Nov. 25.
It's been a long 1,007 days for Dishman. He played his last game as a sophomore at Eastern Kentucky on Feb. 24, 2018, then entered the transfer portal after the season. After choosing to take his talents to Middle Tennessee, he had to sit out the 2018-19 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
