Sophomore forward Gabby Burris (Baltimore, Ohio) scored a career-high 23 points to lead the Ohio women's basketball team (1-0) to a 95-72 win over UNCW on Sunday (Nov. 11) in the 2018-19 season opener at the Convocation Center in Athens. Burris shot 8-of-15 from the floor, including 3-of-6 from three-point range, and made all four of her free throw attempts. She also chipped in five rebounds and a steal in 35 minutes of action.
