YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Kent State earned a gritty victory on the road for the second time in as many games to start the women's basketball season and left the Beeghly Center with an 82-73 overtime victory over host Youngstown State on Saturday afternoon.

The starting backcourt of sophomore Asiah Dingle and senior Megan Carter combined 11 points in the extra period to lead the Golden Flashes (2-0) to victory.
