GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Western Michigan's Tanner Allison & Kent State's Joey Murray were named All-Americans by the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings Sporting Goods.
Allison was named a Second Team All-American by ABCA/Rawlings following his stellar junior season. Allison set the Western Michigan single season RBI record with 68, passing Frank Alferi's previous high of 63 set in 1999. He was named the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Player of the Year, the first from WMU since Scott Conant in 1991, and named First Team All-MAC.
