KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's basketball team suffered a 64-53 setback versus Loyola University Chicago Monday, Dec. 3 at University Arena, dropping its overall record to 2-4 on the season.

Deja Wimby led the Broncos with a season-high 20 points off 7-of-16 shooting, eight rebounds, and five steals. Jasmyn Walker was one rebound shy of a double-double with 12 points and nine boards while converting a season-high five field goals.

WMU shot 20-for-64 from the field and struggled from beyond the arc at 3-for-23.
