NASSAU, Bahamas — The Western Michigan Broncos won the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl with a 45-31 victory over Middle Tennessee for the programs first ever bowl victory. Freshman running back Jamauri Bogan rushed for 215 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Broncos and finish the season with an 8-5 overall record.
Western Michigan quarterback Zach Terrell threw for 297 yards on 18-of-26 passing and two touchdowns, while wide receiver Corey Davis added eight receptions for 183 yards and one score.
