KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The College Football Playoff Selection Committee released its first rankings for the 2016 college football season and the Western Michigan Broncos are ranked No. 23.
The Western Michigan football team continues to be ranked in the national football polls with an 8-0 overall record, 4-0 in the MAC. The Broncos are also ranked No. 17 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and No. 18 in the Amway/USA Today Coaches Poll. Western Michigan climbed three spots in these two polls from last week.
Western Michigan has started 8-0 for the first time since 1941.
