Western Michigan makes adjustment to 2020 schedule, replacing Colgate with Stony Brook

Western Michigan announced today that they’ve made a change to their football schedule, replacing Colgate with the Stony Brook Seawolves on Friday, Sept. 4 in Kalamazoo.

The Patriot League, the conference the Raiders call home, announced last week that they will prohibit their teams from flying to road games due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Seawolves, who compete in the Colonial Athletic Conference, have no such restrictions. Stony Brook finished 5-7 last year in the CAA, missing the FCS playoffs for the first time since 2016.

This will be the first meeting between the two programs.
