MAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week Preseason All-MAC First Team guard Chellia Watson picked up right where she left off as she averaged 27.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game while shooting 57% from the floor to lead Buffalo to a pair of wins to open the season. On Monday, Watson recorded a double-double with a game-high 28 points and 12 rebounds to lead UB to a big win over Troy in the MAC-SBC Challenge. She followed that up with a 26-point performance on Friday to help the Bulls set a program-record with 123 points in a win over Buffalo State.
