KENT, Ohio – University of Akron sophomore Amir Willis (Cincinnati, Ohio) captured the men's 60 meters with a career-best time of 6.80 to lead the efforts of the Zips' Track and Field team on the final day of the Doug Raymond Invitational hosted by Kent State on Saturday, Feb. 15.
Willis headlined the field in the men's 60 meters after running a time of 6.92 in the semifinal round. Sophomore Malcom Briley (Pickerington, Ohio) finished fourth in 6.
