Sophomore Jamie Tofte Nielsen carded the best two rounds of his Rocket career en route to tying for 21st place with a two-under par 214 at Washington's Husky Invitational. The tournament field included 10 schools that were ranked in the Top 100 of Golfstat's final rankings. Nielsen opened the tourney with a career-best even-par 72 before firing a three-under par 69 in his final round. He was at five-under par through 13 holes in his final round before registering a double-bogey and bogey.
