The Michigan Wolverines Score Early and Often to Blow Out Western Michigan

The Michigan Wolverines scored a touchdown on each of their first 5 possessions, while the Western Michigan Broncos struggled to move the ball. The game was over at the halftime, as the Wolverines had a 35-0 lead. The second half wasn’t much better, though the Broncos did manage to score a field goal to stop the shut out.

The Wolverines rushed for 308 yards on 35 attempts, for 8.8 yards per carry. Quarterback Shea Patterson completed 12 out of 17 passes for 125 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Broncos struggled to move the ball, especially through the air.
