EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE ran its unbeaten streak to seven and improved to 2-0 in Mid-American Conference play with a 2-0 win over Bowling Green Saturday at Korte Stadium.

The Cougars improved to 8-3-1 overall. Bowling Green slipped to 7-5-1 and 0-2 in MAC play.

"We still have a tough road ahead," SIUE Head Coach Cale Wassermann said. "We feel good about a win at home in shutout fashion against a good Bowling Green team that pushed us and made us work tonight.
