MAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week Charlie Sharp scored two goals over two road matches for the Broncos. He scored the game winning goal at Oakland on Wednesday, and then put his team up by two late at West Virginia to secure the victory in their MAC opener on Sunday. He led WMU with three shots on goal against the Mountaineers. Sharp is now tied for the team lead in goals with 5 on the year. Other Nominees Jorge Gonzalez, SIUE Mid-American Conference leading scorer Jorge Gonzalez picked up his MAC-leading eighth goal of the year and his third assist of the season to lead SIUE past Northern Illinois in the Conference opener for both schools.
