Hannah Schlegel recorded life time bests in the 200, 500 and 1650 freestyle and in the 400-yard IM at the 2018 Ohio State Invitational, placing her first in the conference. In the finals of day one of the 2018 OSU Invitational, Schlegel swam a 4:47.36 for a 15th place finish and moved up to 3rd in the Ohio University All-Time Top 10 500-yard freestyle record book. On day two of the OSU Invitational, in 200-yard freestyle, Schlegel placed 35th with a time of 1:50.
