KENT, Ohio -- Kent State kicker Matthew Trickett's 22-yard field goal with 19 seconds left in regulation was the deciding factor in a wild 41-38 win over Ball State on Saturday afternoon at Dix Stadium. The teams combined for 79 total points, 10 touchdowns and 1,173 combined yards of total offense.

Kent State quarterback Dustin Crum was 18-of-26 passing for 369 yards and three touchdowns and his top targets were receivers Mike Carrigan with eight receptions for 178 yards and Isaiah McKoy who added six receptions for 159 yards and three touchdowns.
