This season, Portugal was named MAC Offensive Player of the Year and All-MAC First Team. This is the second time she's been named MAC Player of the Year and fourth time she's been named All-MAC First Team. Portugal started all 23 games this season and led the MAC in scoring for the second-straight season with 24 goals, five assists and 53 total points.
GILBERT, Ariz. – Longstreth and the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association announced regional players of the year on Thursday. Senior midfielder/forward Paula Portugal was named Regional Player of the Year.
