MAC Gymnast of the Week
Denelle Pedrick, Central Michigan, Junior
With another dominating performance across the board, Denelle Pedrick continues to place as a top performer for All-Around Competition, this week taking first amongst the rest of the competition. Danielle's All-Around first place score of 39.1 includes a breakdown of Vault: 9.725 (Fourth), Uneven Bars: 9.800 (First), Balance Beam: 9.775 (Third), and Floor Exercise 9.800 (First). With these four excellent scores, Denelle led the way for the Chippewas in a 193.675 to 192.700 victory over the Western Michigan Broncos. With Denelle Pedrick’s 39.1 All-Around score, that would make her the leader in MAC competition for the week with the next closest scores coming from Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan, both with 38.
