Ohio Sits 8th After Day 1 of OSU Open

COLUMBUS, Ohio. – The Ohio swimming and diving team wrapped up the first day at the 2019 Ohio State Open Invitational on Thursday (Nov. 21) sitting in eighth place with a total of 153 points.

Freshman McKenzie Grau (Mason, Ohio) tallied points in the 200 IM, finishing 27th overall with a time of 2:04.03. In time trials, senior captain Emilia Lahtinen (Ylojarvi, Finland) recorded a time of 2:04.22 in the 200 IM.

On the diving side, Halli Siwik (Fishers, Ind.) finished 26th in the 3M diving event with a score of 197.
