ATLANTA (March 11, 2019) – Today, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced the semifinalists for the 2019 Werner Ladder Naismith Coach of the Year Award, which includes 11 candidates due to ties in the voting process. Buffalo head coach Nate Oats was selected as one of the 11 candidates and is one of seven coaches looking to recieve their first ever Werner Ladder Naismith Coach of the Year honor.
Oats has led the Bulls to a 28-3 season, and a 16-2 mark in league play. The 28 wins are already the most in school history and the most ever accomplished in the regular season.
