Bowling Green, Ohio. -- The Northern Illinois Huskies captured their first ever Mid-American Conference Championship on Saturday. NIU finished with a total of 84 points with Toledo following behind with 87 points.
Bowling Green Redshirt-Freshman Kailee Perry took home the individual title for the Falcons, crossing the finish line with an official time of 20:41.0.
2019 Champion Ashley Tutt finished the race in second place with a time of 20:52.7, right in front of teammate Mackenzie Callahan who timed out at 21:04.3.
Following the conclusion of the race, Northern Illinois Head Coach Adrian Myers was named MAC Coach of the Year.
