Football played on a baseball field -- one of the few things you won't see outside of America. It's the Northern Illinois Huskies' turn to host MAC West foe Toledo Rockets in 2016, but instead of playing at Huskie Stadium, the two teams will reportedly meet up at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago, Illinois.
An formal announcement from NIU athletic director Sean Frazier, head coach Rod Carey, Chicago White Sox Vice President Brooks Boyer and executive director of Illinois Sports Facilities Authority (ISFA) Lou Bertuca will be made today at 10:30 a.m. (CT) at U.S. Cellular Field.
