Lucia Yecora, Freshman, Northern Illinois
NIU freshman Lucia Yecora recorded key wins at No. 3 singles in both of the Huskies' MAC victories over the weekend to improve to 14-1 on the season. Yecora defeated Toledo's Gaby Rondon, 6-4, 1-6, 6-0 Friday and dispatched Ball State's Isabelle Tanjuatco, 6-3, 6-0 Sunday. She is 5-0 in MAC play this season.

Sara Zalukar/Emilia Valentinsson, Miami
Sara Zalukar and Emilia Valentinsson had an impressive weekend at the No. 1 doubles spot. The pair went 2-0 on the week with a 6-1 win on Friday over BGSU and a 6-4 win on Sunday against EMU.
