NCAA RECOGNIZES MAC ATHLETIC PROGRAMS FOR MULTI-YEAR ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE;
INCLUDING 42 MAC TEAMS ACROSS 16 SPORTS

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA announced today the public recognition for outstanding academic performance to athletic programs from the Mid-American Conference (MAC), which includes a total of 42 different teams recognized across 16 sports. Full NCAA Release.

Based on their most recent multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR), these 42 MAC teams have earned NCAA Public Recognition Awards for posting scores in the top 10 percent of their sport. The APR is an annual scorecard of academic achievement calculated for all Division I sports teams nationally.
