Jimmy Hall had 23 points, and led the Kent State Golden Flashes to a 93-63 win over the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils on Wednesday night.
The Delta Devils showed strength early on, responding from an early 10-point deficit to take a small lead midway through the first half.
However, Kent State would respond with force. The Flashes ended the first half on a 16-5 run to take a ten point, 41-31 into the halftime break.
Kent State didn’t stop extending their lead after the teams came back to the court after the break, outscoring MVSU by 6 in the first few minutes of the second half.
