The Buffalo Bulls were 7-2 in the MAC and had skyrocketed up our power rankings after being an after thought. The Bulls own a very impressive victory as they are the only school to beat Northern on their home floor. They also have swept the season series with Kent State and played close with Akron in their two contests. It seems like everyone in the MAC had a tough four to five game stretch where they just couldn't buy a victory. After defeating Eastern Michigan the Bulls lost at home to Toledo by two, to Akron on the road and 19 points to Ohio.
