Ball State (10-6, 1-2 MAC) shot over 55 percent from the field, and Franko House scored 20 points to lead the Cardinals to a 85-74 win over the Miami Redhawks (8-8, 1-2 MAC).
House was one of five Cardinals to reach double figures, as Ball State’s bench played a critical role in putting away Miami. Ball State’s second unit outscored the Redhawks 26-4, with Jeremie Tyler and Tahjai Teague leading the way with 11 and 10 points on the night.
Miami was led by Michael and Marcus Weathers, who chipped in 22 and 17 for the Redhawks.
