Miami, Ohio, Kent State and Toledo Accepted for WNIT

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference will have four teams competiting in the 2019 Women's NIT; Kent State, Miami, Ohio and Toledo.

For the second time during Todd Starkey's three-year tenure as head coach, the Golden Flashes are in the postseason. KSU posted an overall season record of 19-12 and 11-7 in MAC play.

Miami finished the season with a 23-8 overall record and a 13-5 conference record. The RedHawks return to the WNIT for the second-consecutive season. Miami reached 20 wins in back-to-back seasons for the first time since the 1980's and put together an 11-game win streak, matching the fifth-longest win streak in program history.
