A balanced all-around effort led the Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team to a season-opening win over Cleveland State University Friday afternoon, Nov. 9, inside the Convocation Center. EMU (1-0) trailed by as many as 12, but a trio of double-digit performances and gritty defense led the Eagles to the 69-63 win over the Vikings (1-1).
