DETROIT, Mich. – On Monday, July 22, the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and USA Football hosted over 400 youth football players from the Detroit PAL football league for a free football clinic at Ford Field led by USA Football and support from coaches and students from MAC football programs.
The football clinic was hosted by the MAC, USA Football and Ford Field. Clinic participants also received two (2) free tickets to the 2019 Marathon MAC Football Championship Game, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7 at Noon ET at Ford Field.
During the free clinic, participants will had the opportunity to meet and work with college football coaches and students; run offensive, defensive and agility drills; learn proper techniques to promote on-field football safety; and learn about the importance of character development and good sportsmanship.
