CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference will be represented by in both the East and West Regions of the NCAA Track & Field Preliminary Championships. A total of 107 student-athletes will participate in the three-day event that kicks off on Thursday, May 26.

The University of Akron track and field program will send 26 student-athletes from its men's and women's teams – competing in 19 events – to the NCAA East Preliminary Round at North Florida University in Jacksonville, Fla.
