As the basketball season start to take shape, there are quite a few interesting story lines to follow. The MAC East just might be more competitive than initially thought. While the Buffalo Bulls are certainly impressive, sitting at 5-0 and ranked in the top 25, there are some other teams making some noise. Kent State is sitting at 5-1 and with more solid play could enter the MAC race 10-3. They recently knocked off Vanderbilt thanks to some hot shooting from downtown. Akron isn’t far behind, with a 4-2 record, and one of those losses was a close one to ranked Clemson.
