MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE CONCLUDES COUNCIL OF PRESIDENTS MEETINGS
Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference concluded its Council of Presidents meeting on Monday in Indianapolis, Ind. with interaction among NCAA leadership, discussion of recent NCAA legislation and further endorsement of the MAC's mental health initiative.
Led by MAC Commissioner, Dr. Jon Steinbrecher, the MAC Council of President's meeting included a session with NCAA President Mark Emmert. The Council of Presidents also received a tutorial on the NCAA Institutional Performance Program Data Management System from the NCAA Director of Academic and Membership Services, Troy Arthur.
The MAC Council of Presidents also reviewed autonomous legislation passed at the recently concluded NCAA Convention last month in San Antonio, Texas.
