The Falcons (13-27, 6-12 MAC) were able to take an early lead in the game, but the Flyers got five tuns in the span of two innings in order to win the rain-shortened game. After Dayton got on the board with one run in the first inning, BG responded with a Jake Wilson two-run home run in the third inning and a Riley Minorik RBI-single in the fifth inning to take the 3-1 lead. However, the offense sputtered and UD took advantage as it tied the game up in the fifth with a stealing of home and three unearned runs in the following inning.
