The Cardinals (27-15, 11-4 MAC) clawed their way to a win over the Falcons (13-25, 6-11 MAC) yesterday with a late run to earn a three-way tie at the top of the MAC. BSU opened the game with RBI-singles in the first inning from Ross Messina and William Baker, but BG cut the deficit in half in the following inning with a walked-in run. After four scoreless innings, the Falcons finally tied things up with Brad Croy sacrifice fly in the seventh inning, but the Cards had other ideas as Messina delivered a home run in the next inning.
