Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Cox scored both of BGSU’s goals in Thursday’s match at Michigan State. She scored the two goals exactly six minutes apart in the first half to give the Falcons a 2-1 lead. It marked her second multiple-goal game as a Falcon, and was the third multi-goal match of her collegiate career for the UNC Wilmington transfer. Cox had five shots vs. the Spartans and six on the week. The two goals gave Cox 28 points in 28 career matches with the Falcons, and she leads the team in scoring this season with nine points.
