Senior JoAnna Smith continued her strong play for the Bulls this week as she helped UB go 1-1 with a road win at Western Michigan. The Southaven, MS native averaged 38.0 minutes, 26.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals while leading UB in scoring both games. On Wednesday night, Smith went off for a team-best 26 points, three rebounds and two assists as she was able to connect on a season-high six three pointers across 38 minutes. Smith moved into third place on UB's all-time three pointers made list with 167 career triples.
