Men's Soccer Co-Players of the Week WVU senior midfielder Joey Piatczyc tied the match with 13 seconds left in regulation and scored the game-winner three minutes into overtime to propel West Virginia to a 2-1 victory at Akron on Saturday night. The Mountaineers trailed 1-0 12 minutes into the second half, but Piatczyc led an offensive attack that resulted in the game-tying goal at 89:47, and the game-winner at 92:27. Piatczyc led the team with three shots, all on goal, as he guided the offense to a 10-1 advantage in shots following Akron’s goal.
