Wiseman went 3-0-0, led the field in birdies and never trailed all week at the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play. The junior beat a pair of top-500 players along the way to pace the Cardinals to a third-place team result. Wiseman opened with a decisive 5&4 victory over Drake's Drew Ison in Monday's quarterfinal round at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club. In the afternoon semifinals, he dispatched Cam Solomon of top-seeded Miami, 3&2. Solomon entered ranked No. 462 in the country. In Tuesday's third-place match, Wiseman's only match to go the distance, he won the final hole for a 2 up victory over Nic Ross of Eastern Michigan.
