MAC Golfer of the Week Senior Gisli Sveinbergsson led the Flashes’ lineup this weekend at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate with a 6-under par 204 score for a 16th place finish overall. Sveinbergsson was the only player in the lineup to shoot all three rounds under-par (67-68-69/204). The senior shot remarkable first and third rounds of bogey-free golf, ending the tournament with eight birdies. Sveinbergsson led the whole tournament with 44 total pars. Ranked 49th in the nation, he holds a 68 scoring average with all three rounds under par.
