Cleveland, Ohio – Mid-American Conference Commissioner Dr. Jon Steinbrecher has announced the addition of Rachel Rusnak as Director of Communications, beginning July 8, 2024. Rusnak joins the MAC after having served as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at the University of Toledo since 2021.
Rusnak served as the primary media contact for the Rockets women’s soccer, women’s swimming & diving, softball, men’s & women’s tennis, men's & women's cross country, and women's track & field programs.
Rusnak was selected as a member of the College Sports Communicators (CSC) "30 Under 30 Award" Class of 2023, an award based on achievement in professional success, impact on their athletic department/ conference office, and service to CSC.
