DETROIT, Mich. – Kent State and Ball State have been selected to win their respective divisions in the 2021 Mid-American Conference Football Media Preseason Poll. The Golden Flashes received a total of 11 first place votes when it came to picking who would win the East Division, while the Cardinals received 11 first place votes to take home the West Division. The poll was announced at the league’s annual MAC Football Media Day at Ford Field in Detroit and was determined by a 22-member MAC media panel. Ball State was also selected to win the 2021 Rocket Mortgage MAC Football Championship Game.
