CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced Monday the 2017 MAC Softball preseason poll and predicted MAC Tournament Champion as voted by the head coaches of the 12 MAC institutions.
In the east, Kent State is predicted to finish first in 2017 receiving five of the 12 possible first place votes. The Ohio Bobcats are picked to finish second and the Miami RedHawks are picked to finish third. Rounding out the East is Akron fourth, Buffalo fifth, and Bowling Green sixth, respectively.
In the west, Northern Illinois is selected to finish atop the division receiving eight first place votes.
