CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced the Gymnastics All-MAC First Team and Second Team selections for the 2016 season Wednesday. The teams were selected based upon individual conference rankings of Regional Qualifying Standard (RQS).
For the third straight season, Bowling Green's Alyssa Nocella was been named to the All-MAC First Team. Kent State's Rachel Stypinski was honored for the second straight season. Joining them on the first team was Eastern Michigan's Rachel Slocum and Kendall Valentin.
The All-MAC Second Team featured Central Michigan's Taylor Bolender for the second consecutive year, BGSU's Lauren Feely, CMU's Katy Clements and Kasey Janowicz, EMU's Catie Conrad, KSU's Jordan Hardison, Northern Illinois' Lauren Africano and Jamyra Carter, and WMU's Anna Corbett.
