Sophomore Sam Lewis led Toledo to two victories last week to extend the Rockets’ winning streak to five games. Lewis scored a team-high 20.5 ppg and grabbed 5.0 rpg while shooting an impressive 62.5% (15-of-24) from the field and 60.0% (6-of-10) from three-point range. Lewis opened the week by scoring a team-high 19 points and tying his career best with four three-point field goals in the Rockets’ 87-74 win over Buffalo on Tuesday. He then paced the Rockets with 22 points, one shy of his career high in a 72-69 victory over James Madison on Saturday.
