For the second straight summer, Kent State's Andrea Rinehart has impressed USA Field Hockey as she has been selected for the organization's 2016 Young Women's National Championship.

The event serves as a high-level, international structured competition and the selection venue for the 2016-17 US Women's Under 21 National Team. The Championship will take place June 28 – July 3 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

After the 2015 competition, Rinehart was one of four goalkeepers selected for USA Field Hockey's U-21 Junior National Team Camp. Rinehart helped the Golden Flashes win both a regular season and tournament title as the primary goalkeeper during her sophomore and junior seasons.
