Kent State's Julian Edelman Named Super Bowl MVP

ATLANTA, Ga. -- Congratulations to former Kent State quarterback Julian Edelman on his Super Bowl MVP honor as part of the winning New England Patriots in a 13-3 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Edelman finished with a game high 10 receptions for 141 yards as the favorite target for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Edelman, a nine-year NFL veteran with the Patriots, won his third Super Bowl as a member of the New England Patriots and became the first former MAC student athlete to be named NFL Super Bowl MVP.
