Freshman Cade Breitenstine led the Flashes' lineup this week against a highly competitive field at the Inverness Intercollegiate. Breitenstine's performance helped Kent State earn its third-straight top-10 finish of the season, while also competing with three teams ranked in the top-15. The freshman finished tied for 11th with a 3-over 216 score. He posted a career-low 3-under 68 in the opening round with the help of six total birdies, five of which were in a row.
