Saturday’s game between Kent State and Miami (OH) in Oxford, OH, has been canceled due to COVID-19 related issues within the Golden Flashes’ program.
The Mid-American Conference released an official statement regarding the cancelation, and the game has been ruled a no contest:
“The Kent State University at Miami University football game on Saturday, December 5 has been canceled due to roster issues with the Kent State football team related to positive COVID-19 tests and subsequent contact tracing. The game has been declared a no contest.”
In the MAC’s abbreviated 2020 schedule, this is the second COVID-related cancelation to transpire.
