MAC Softball Championship Central AKRON, Ohio – No. 2 Kent State held off No. 6 Ball State to stay alive in the MAC Softball Championship. The Golden Flashes topped the Cardinals by a score of 4-1. With the win, Kent State will face No. 5 Central Michigan in an elimination game at 2 p.m. ET today. With the loss, Ball State has been eliminated from this year's tournament. More coming soon.
